I have met several guys online and most of them have been very nice but a little geeky or strange. Nothing dangerous or criminal but just embarrassingly strange or odd. The guys that I have met that seem nice and normal either were no into me or I wasn't into them. However whenever I have met a married man for other reasons, they are attractive, normal acting , successful, and just fit a normal mold. Why is it so hard to find a normal man who is attractive and that is interested in dating me and is single?

I'm not talking about the younger guys that are 18-35, I'm talking about the ones that are the age range that I would date 40-50. I used to be weary of divorced men with children but I have come to think they are a better bet than the single 50 year old men who have no children. They just seem kinda odd. After all most people no matter who they are eventually marry and have children by the time they are in their 50's. I can't help but think of the serial killers who lived with mom all their life and never dated and so on.

Normally single guys are nervous and self concious, so they come off a lot weirder and insecure (ironically enough trying to cover up their insecurity). Once they get more comfy, they get more normal, hence married men have nothing to worry about so they're relaxed.

Wow. Sucks to be you. Just kidding. I met my wife online, I also met some odd women to be sure. One woman said she was 5'7" and 110lbs, when we met, she must have mutated from some nuclear accident because she showed up as 5'2" and 200lbs!!! Not a big deal, except I'm 6'5" and she LIED.
Anyway, keep trying, you'll be fine, there are sure to be lemons, but eventually you'll get your lemonade.
Oh, also...Stay away from the crazies, and make sure you take someone else on your first date. If the guy isn't comfortable with that, you don't want to meet him anyway. My wife brought a posse on our first "date".

not all single guys are wierd the only wierd ones are the ones looking for dates on the internet, you like married guys because they are mature and stuff, maybe if you get a single guy and are commited to him he might act normal.

It's not hard, but remember in all grass there are some weeds. You just have to keep searching till you find the right guy! We aren't all that weird I promise!

They get kind of crazy quick on you. I seem to talk to stable type guys but they turn out to be married :(
