When I was five years old my father committed suicide. He had severe addiction problems and many people in his family had given up hope that he could change. Now, as I am getting older I find myself seeking out guys with these kinds of problems. I form a relationship based on trying to "save" them. I guess subconsciously I am trying to give them hope that many people didn't give my dad. When the relationship fails and they continue to go about their addictions, I feel like a failure. My question is, will this ever stop? Will I ever be ok with knowing that sometimes people just can't be saved? And more importantly, will I ever come to terms with knowing that I am not meant to save these people?

so i'm at work and ever since i discovered this, i've been addicted. it's such a distraction from my work. i'm even supposed to be working overtime. the only thing that makes me get back to work is when i've reached my limit of answers for the day. how bad is that?

Ok... Tell me y my boyfriend always want 2 go 2 tha club, out 2 eat, and just out period with his boys r wuteva and I have no problem really... but when I go somewhere like 2 the movies r jus out 2 eat with my friends its a big deal and he's all upset and acusing me of meating other guys and stuff..... I was with a guy for 6 years, we had 2 kids together. We broke up, then it was like i had to force him to see our kids. He started dating again, and i havent even thought about it. But, he came to me about 2 weeks ago wanting to patch things up, and possibly give our relationship another try. I wasnt sure and i said i needed a little time, he was fine with that. Last night i told him that i was starting to feel like i was ready to try again, and that i still loved him. He blew me off, and left me alone to cry. I dont understand why, or how he could do that? I think that i should just move on with my life and just worry about myself and my kids. But a lot of my friends keep saying "dont give up on him yet", any opinions on this matter?

My bf and I have been dating 4 years on July 21 and I was wondering what are some good gift ideas? Normally I would buy him a couple of things and then make something (one year I put a whole bunch of pictures of us together for a collage, things like that), just for the special significant purpose. I have a girlfriend overseas and she is very young so am i. i am at the point of break where i don't enjoy this anymore. i used to take long distance relationships seriously but as i grew older i realized that they weren't that meaningful to me. but it seems like she is taking it very seriously, and i don't know what to do. i feel like i should take my chances with the girls i can see easily instead of waiting 6 months before i see my girlfriend. please can anyone help me out to deal with that. i need some advice.

ok im going to a new elemen school i used to go to my mom works there she is a teacher ok when was in kinder i had a boyfriend ok so we were together in kinder and first then i moved to another school cause my mom didn't like the teachers so i left for second and third and had a boy there but my mom still worked there at my old school i left for third and im going back to my old school and my ex is is there and is going to be in my class next year! i look diffrent then in kinder and first no ugly but better ok im still the most popular person in the whole school but im afraid to go back wat do i do i look better and he's cuta his name is Alex. and my boys from old school i had threee Malik Zurich and James. i still se them but Alex lives far away and they dont so i feel a little better. but i want Alex too!
