In my experience, yes, it is ok to lie about your age. I've always been someone more mature. I grew up too fast and older women interest me. Don't get me wrong, I am not encouraging you to lie. Lies will always catch up to you. But, I do believe that if you lie for the right reasons, good can come out of it.
Take for example the war on terror. Did our government mislead us? The answer is overwhelmingly yes. But are we that much better off because we went to war with Iraq? Of course. War with Iraq secures that Iraqi oil comes to ashore American ports. Reconstruction in Iraq ensures billions in profits to American firms.
What I am trying to say is that if you sincerely have feelings for someone older or younger then you, and all you want is that one chance. That one opportunity to get to know them better..... Take it. If something good comes out of it and you two build that special relationship with one another, she won't care how old you are. He or she will understand that you needed to give yourself that fighting chance.
Older women will usually not give you a chance if you are younger then them. Today, my girlfriend is the person I love the most. She is also 4 years older then me. We have been dating for 2 years. When she found out that I was younger, I asked her, "Would you have given me a chance if you knew I was only 17 at the time we met?" She replied that the answer would have been a definite no. Today we are still very much in love.
Hope this helps...

the truth continuously comes out...dont lie about it or you probability dropping the courting later. i look way youthful than my age too and prefer it at the same time as human beings imagine Im youthful yet when requested, i'd tell the truth. I dont promote my authentic age although if i imagine the different human being is youthful.

it depends. if ur lying on something like myspace so ppl think that ur older than u r, then that is bad. if ur lying to protect yourself and u make urself younger, then it is absolutely fine. better to live then to tell the truth about ur age!!
