Everyday my friend tells me of this co worker at her job who is always comes over and talks non stop. She said that this co-workers talking is stopping her from doing work because she doesn't want to be rude and tell him to go back to work so she listens.
she told me that yesterday she avoids him, and now she is rarely seen at her desk for fearing that he might appear. I told her to let him know that chatting can be done at lunchtime. She told me that he won't stop talking. she said one day things were quiet and he came up to her and said "I dont mean to interrupt, I want to talk to somebody" and goes off gabbing. I dont know what to tell her, its irratating her and me cause I can't call her at work cause she stays away from her desk. what to do?

I have a friend-well, a HALF-friend, and she always discourages me. She makes ME feel stupid, my BEST FRIEND look stupid, and says I can't do anything right! We both play the violin, and we both write, and she thinks and says that she's better than me! I've been doing both longer, and even though I'm younger, (2 yrs only!) I'm better at both. I know. I've heard her play, and I've seen her writing.
How do I confront her about this?

They are always happy to hear from me when I call but they never initiate anything on their own. I know they are busy since their children are small and my child is almost a grown up but it seems to me that we make time for things (or people) that are important to us.

Last night I was with my boyfriend and his friends just hangin out but i needed to go home so i could take a shower and be ready for school today and it was already 9:30 and they were getting ready to play madden 07 and i hate that game so i was ready to go, they took me home and my boyfriend said he would be home at 11:30 and for me to unlock the door for him when he got their. I have a group of friends that I thought was my "clique". We went to high school and college together. Then senior year of college something happened and they started to drift away, except for my best friend. The summer after college we mended things and we all began hanging out again the 4 of us.
A couple of months ago my best friend started dating this guy and another friend in our group started dating his best friend (best friend's boyfriend's best friend). Ever since that they have been inseperable. Now all three of them and their boyfriends hangout but they never want to hangout with me. I still invite them over and make the effort but they don't! Should I just ditch them? What do you think happened? I didn't do anything wrong!!

so here is my problem.i am 16 year old guy nd i doesn't know that where is my destiny till now.i am not able 2 decide that what i want to do in future.some of my friends says that u need a gf who inpires u.is it true that my life doesn't have direction nd by getting a gf my life got direction.I don't think so.Actually all my class mates have a gf nd i am alone.so they r trying that i will also get involve in relationship with any girl.there is a girl in my class who likes me nd she is gud looking ,intelligent,attractive nd also mine gud friend.many guys in my class also like 2 become her partner but my mind is saying again n again that not 2 have any relationship with any girl.Having a friend as a girl is ok but gf.....??my friends is forcing me nd yesterday she perposed me nd i am fed up of hearing abt her.now the talks abt her irritiate me nd my friend says that i am over reacting.i think that i also like the girl but my mind is stopping me

Okay neither me nor my friend have a car and sometimes we take turns having our parents bring us back to school (college). We came home for Christmas break and she called when we got home and left me a message letting me know that her mom is bringing her back Friday instead of that Sunday if I was riding with her. I called her back and said okay and that I got her message.
Okay this is our weekend to go back to school and I called her last night and she didnt answer the phone. I left her a message asking her is she was still leaving Friday so I could know to come into work the next day or not. She did not call me back at all that night. The next morning (friday morning) I called her and she didnt answer the phone.
