I was just wondering if anyone here has gone to
the movies by there selfs?
Mabey you had the day off school or work and was bored.
Will people stair and laugh at you?

It is perfectly fine to go to the movies by yourself.
If there is a movie you would like to enjoy, do it by yourself before it leaves theaters. People are generally only interested in watching the show they paid a lot of money for than staring, most people just smile and keep on moving.

The theatre may be the only place where I am concerned about whom I am seen with. I would never see a show by myself at nights or during the weekends, and because I want to maintain my heterosexual image, I would never want to be seen at the movies with another guy (I have only done that once since I hit puberty and it was one of the most embarrassing moments of my life). Best time to go by yourself is when no one is there... think afternoons when everyone's at school or work if you take the day off.

I've been once or twice. If it bothers you, just tell yourself this. No one is looking at you- they're paying attention to themselves. If someone notices you're alone, it might be an acceptable notion that your date is out getting popcorn or whatever. Once the movie starts, no one will even notice. They're there to watch the movie, not you!

I've been a bunch of times by myself. Nothing wrong with it and you don't have to coordinate with anyone. Good reason to get out for a bit.

i have gone to the movies by myself many time and actually there is plenty of people there by themselves... so its ok. I never feel ackward

nobody laughs at me although i railly go tot he movies by myself or period just cuz i don't get invited and i don't know why i have a great personality and all
