A lot of my friends are trying out for cheerleading next year. I am more of the sporty type and don't wanna do that. I am afraid I won't be as popular as them. I know that that really doesn't matter, but to me it kinda does. Please help me with what I should do to stay popular wothout cheerleading. NO STUPID ANSWERS PLEASE!!

ok I have this girls phone number and am pretty excited but when should I call her. Everytime a girl gives me her phone number I call then all of a sudden she starts ignoring my phone calls. I can't figure why they do that. It would really help because im really looking for friends but everyone is so busy doing stuff with thier other friends( They never invite me). I'm not ugly and I don't smell bad so whats going on. One of my closer friends that I lost says that I look very uncomfortable when im in a public situation but I can't help it. It automatically happens. I can't help that I get nervous around strangers. Could some one give me advice.

THis is a serious question. I think my friend is being abused by his parents. Actually i know he is. He told me yesterday. HE told me not to tell but i know i have to. I dont feel comfortable tlking to my parents or a counseler cuz it just feels wierd. I do trust my science teacher and social studies teacher from last year. Should i talk to them since i dont feel comfortable tlking to parents or counceler????? And since i dont see them everyday should i email them and tell them or email them and set up a time to tlk???

I have no friends, my fiancee thinks i am to depressed the only thing i do is go to work come home, which by the way i still live with my parents i am 26 and just play video games online thinking that i will eventually meet friends online and all will be well, i have to many bills so i can't go out anywhere and spend money, all i do during the entire week is wonder what is going on how can i change myself what kind of hobbies should i get into all so that i can make friends but for some reason no one wants to be friends with me bc they say they will and i never hear from them again. I can tell you all the things that i like but it will take a bit but i always wanted to start to write but am to lazy to do it or basically anything else for that matter the only thing i want to do is play video games and hope for the best

My crush and I have both said we think the other one is sexy. Now when we see each other in person it's no more flirting and we barely talk....I don't want it like that. Lately, all my friends are morphing into the ideal Middle Schoolers. They wear make-up, gossip, flirt with all the cute guys, and go shopping every week....literally. I don't like to wear make-up, I think gossip is wrong, no guys come near me, and I can't afford to go shopping like them. Because I'm so different, I think they're pushing me out. If your "best friend" moved away and called you every day and then she moved to Mexico for four months for student abroad and came back and hasn't called you.
Ok here is some more info.
We have been best friends since 3rd grade.
She moved about two hundred miles away to go to college but we still talked everyday for three years.
Four and a half months ago she moved to mexico.
She said that she would call me a couple of times but never did.
She has been back for two weeks.
no call or anything.
I can't call her because she got her phone disconected for yhe time she was gone.
what would you do?
