Hey, when you create a community lot, how do ou put people in the place to work, or are they put automatically.

when you start the game its gonna show a movie scene then its gonnatell you to press start then it shows you the sim and then you create it then save it and bring it to your house!

Depending on which expansions you have for the game, there are various items you must place in your community lot in order for NPC (non-player characters) to be generated by the computer to work there.
In the standard sims 2, if you made a community lot with a cash register, a store employee would show up in the lot to take your money when you bought clothes or grocerys.
In University, they added the Coffee Bar item, and a Barista appears to make coffee.
In Nightlife, they added the Bar, the kitchen stove for resturants, and the podium, all of which generate NPCs to work at them.
