My friends went out with this guy for a year. it is only when they broke up I found he was abusive to her. On one occasion strangling her and on another burning her with a cigarette. I was distrought and guilty I didn't know anything was going on. I haven't heard from her for nearly 2 months, all her friends I know hadn't heard from her either. She had changed her number and moved out so I had no way of getting in contact with her other than email, which I emailed her on frequently.
I have just found out from one of my childhood friends. That she is back with her abusive ex. I have to admit I had my suspicions. Apparently she's gonna call me on the weekend (am not gonna hold my breath). The thing is I feel powerless I don't know what I do! I feel so angry, yet worried at the same time as this guy is horrid, he was only ever nice to me because I stood up to him.What can I do? What can I say to her? Is there any realistic way of making her see sense?

There's a guy that I only just met last week. He is a best friend that I also only met last week. For some reason, this guy ticks me off. Sometimes he just acts like my friend, and other times he is annoying. But he ALWAYS smiles at me. It's kind of annoying. Whenever I talk to his best friend, he interrupts me and butts in. When his best friend is not around, he always torments me by saying, "Oh! You like him!" One day he said, "Oh you like him! You're always like ! ! !" I just gave him this look and then he says, "I was JOKING!" Sometimes he'll follow me around and other times he doesn't want to! (Like when he hesitated to give me his MSN screenname). I also tried not talking to him for a whole day (the previous day he had REALLY ticked me off). The result was this: he didn't say a word to me either. However if I start the conversation, he'll offer me chocolate and start laughing and being friendly. What's up with this guy??

Her boyfriend told her she could not be friends with me anymore. Her & I have grown up together. The two of them have only been together for 6 months. She had the never to call me to tell me she can't be my friend or she will lose him. Then 30 mins. later she called back to say she would not do that to me. The point is she would make her boyfriend belive she was no longer my friend instead of stucking up for our friendship. Should I be mad at her & ignore her calls or be a hidden friend from her man?

Met a girl, had a good time. She tells me shes not over her ex though, and wants to remain friends for now, and she'll let me know after shes got her thoughts sorted out. This is true (thats shes not over him), as I know.

But what does this mean? Does it mean shes not into me? Or does it mean that she likes me, but actually is too into the guy still?

Are females the "Weaker Sex" or the "Manipulative Sex" ?? Time & again, women are often referred to as the weaker sex but they normally get away with things by using manipulative ways & sexual liaisons. I am not a male chauvinist but it's a fact : Women do stoop to lower levels to get things done , from sleeping around with their bosses to flashing cleavage... they know how to get things done.

in our school whenever you start a new year you switch classes and get different classmates, last year i had a best friend anyway this year he wasnt my classmate and since there are so much people in our batch its hard to stay in contact with people who arent in your class. while i was walking with my new friends he passed by me and told me to hang out with him and he was my friend so i did, but now he found new friends and he barely talks... at least not the way he used to , he always hangs out with them and doesnt even eat lunch with us anymore. ...stealing from your purse?
I caught her near enough red handed but she is still denying it.
I dont know what upsets me more- the fact that she stole from my purse right there in front of me when she thought I was asleep....or that she thinks Im stupid enough to believe she wasnt.
Im absolutely gutted to be honest, if she needed money she could have just asked and I would have given it to her so why would she steal from someone she is supposed to love? I havent spoken to her since but I cannot avoid her forever, Im not sure how to handle the situation, I dont know if we can still be friends cos every time Im in her company I will be watching my purse!
