How do you know if he's starting to look and think of you as more than his friend?

Would you want to complicate things between the two of you?
What if you will just end up hurting each other?

Or would you rather stay as just friends knowing that you could keep each other forever if you will just be friends?

this girl was my bestfriend since 4th grade, then when we moved to middle school, she barely talks to me anymore.
everytime we sees each other we barely say hi.
i wanted to ask why she doens't play with me, but i don't have the guts to.
now she plays with her cousin and 3 of her cousin's friends.
i feel like i got dumped.

Hi... I've been friends with this bengali muslim girl for more than year already and we see each other in school... and recently for the past 2 months we've been calling each other everyday and talking for 2-3 hrs every night about anything and everything and she is someone I can see myself with. However, she's muslim and she can only marry another muslim I think? I never brought up about me liking her or what not.. but I just really like her company and I would do anything for her. Can anyone give me any thoughts on this and if there are any muslim girls, can you please give me your opinions? I'm chinese and I would marry her, but I wouldn't want to bring it up until I get some clarity on this issue because I wouldn't want to jeopardize what we have now. Also, I noticed in school, she doesn't really talk to me much when her muslim friends are around. But when they aren't, we would always talk... And I would also like to know if us talking so much on the phone means anything. Thanks!

We've known each other for ages and I love him very much, but just as a friend. Now that he's spilled the beans I don't know how to handle the situation without hurting him or destroying our friendship. How can I say no to him without offending him? I met this girl in a chatroom and we became friends almost instantly. She's a very nice girl and we share a lot in common in terms of our anxiety and depression. Today we were chatting online and she started really getting upset. She's in college and she always has a lot of schoolwork. I called her (I live in Philly, she lives in Seattle) and she was bawling telling me how nobody cares about her and even her family doesn't care about her and she doesn't know what's wrong and she doesn't know how to fix it. I tried really hard to calm her down and try to make her think positive and I told her she needs to relax once in a while and not overwork herself, but she says if she does that she will fall behind and feel even worse. I really wish I could just fly over there and just be there for her because it appears I'm the only person she can count on. She goes to a therapist but she tells me she doesn't help out. What can I do to keep her from getting this upset? Its killing me.

Ugh..me and my one friend are always fighing!! I've recently moved to a new city and I am a full time grad student. I'm new to the area and I'm a little bit lonely and bored, and so I'm having trouble focusing on school. What are some ideas of hobbys or activities I could do to make friends? I'm not athletic so nothing like a gym or dance classes or athletic clubs please, and I don't want to get a part time job either.

Also, once I've figured ideas for activities, how do you make friends in a class? I've never had problems with it before, but I'm finding the more time I spend by myself, the more reserved I'm becoming. It feels like I've forgotten how to make friends. I've been in school classes for over two months and don't have one friend that I hang out with yet...

Thank you for your help, I've never had to deal with a situation like this before and I don't like that I'm becoming a recluse! It needs to stop!

My mooch friend just moved out after I asked him to contribute and he refused so I said he had to go ( over a month staying here). Well the problem is that his stuff (furniture, boxes, clothes, etc.) are still here. How long do I have to house his stuff without legal penalty?
