I'm 15, and my best friend whom i was friends with since about three years old moved away a year ago. We really did not hang out a lot the last year and a half before she moved, but when she suddenly told me that she was i was devestated. it is not like i didnt spend any time with her but it was that i didnt spend as much as we used to.

I regret not spending time with her, and now if i try to contact her she doesn't respond. how can i move on, stop having nostalgic moments, and stop regretting the "what ifs" like she has?

My friend is in love with this guy that she went out with last year but she can't tell and keeps deniying it. On top of that the guy used to go out with my friends rival who just recently got dumped by the guy, and she still is mad (and hit me in the head with a hockey stick!!) and won't leave us alone. and she's even more mad because my friend is getting really close with the boy and its already like their togeather agian. and i can tell that my friend is in love with him but i asked her about it and she just said "no i don't like him, why would you think that?!" its so obious but i can't tell her agian, and i don't trust him. expectailly with the boys ex trying to get him back and trying to call a truce with me and my friend. (which won't happen!!) i don't know why but i feel like their planning something..... why and what should i do?

Got the courage to ask this from some one who posted up " What's the best way to get revenge on a DEMONIC BYTCH?"
I also have a difficulty asking this question with little detail. My situation is a whole different thing too.
In school my friend used to like this girl who was overall good and nice. they went out once and she said" I just want to be friends" to my friend. then after that she comes up to me and starts to talk as if she like me. i kinda didn't care for her and then i started likeing her later(not telling her tho) i started to talk to her to more firendlyer but not telling that i like her. one day she talks to me for a minute and goes to some other guy saying "i'll go talk to him" in my face. I got mad beaucase you just don't do that to a boy. on msn i got a little angry at her even tho i was trying tomake her like me. then one day i talk to her and she just says talking to someone else, good bye.
how can i get my revenge and make her like me again or either one?

ok i have this friend and she wont stop saying rude remarks to me, like for instance she keeeps caling me fat right, and she knows what i've been through. she's my so called me "bestfriend". last yr i suffered from a slight anerixia problem, and then again this year with bulimia, although she keeps making really rude remarks, and i think my litle "disorders" are becuase of her. i mean i'm honestly not fat. if you think a size 5 in jeans is fat, then w.e. but what do i do, do i drop her as friend? because i have confronted her and told her i didnt like what she was saying but she just laughed it off. i told her im won talk to her until she stops and she acted like it really didnt bother her. we've been friends since we were litle kids in diapers.. My "friend" took me out to lunch for my birthday. I was on a tight schedule, I only had about an hour. I explained this before I went, so she knew when I had to leave. We were having a nice time when her cell phone rang and it was another one of her friends, calling to tell her about her dermatologist appointment. (Not life threatening stuff.) I sat there, went to use the ladies room, came out and she was still on the phone...all in all about 10 min. I told her I had to go and got up and left to her wave goodbye. I was so insulted. I later confronted her and she told me I take things too personally. Is this not extremely rude or what?

I go to school with this guy who is a very good friend of mine, but lately our friendship is being heavily tested. My friend uses every chance he gets to bring up his gf. I don't mind talking about her or hearing about her, but my friend takes it to the extreme. I've already had a talk with him a few months back about it, and he apologized, but it seems to be getting worse again lately.
The other day I was very worried about this other guy I go to school with because he posted on him blog that he was having extreme depression problems. My friend is friends with this guy, so I told my friend about my worries and asked if the guy was ok. Not only does he dismiss my concerns, but he also suddenly asks if Grey's Anatomy is almost over, cause its his gf's fav. show, and after its over she'll be able to chat on the comp. w/ him. I found this rude and insensitive. Alot of things like this have been happening lately and its wearing on me. What should I do? I care about my friend, but he doesn't seem to care back. Any advice? Thanks!

Last year I found an old friend online and sent him an e-mail. We were really good friends as children, but we didn't stay in touch after I moved away 31 years ago. I went to high school, married, and have 4 kids. He went to a seminary and is a Catholic priest. Except for our childhood years I don't think we have anything in common. Except for a couple of e-mails we haven't had any contact. On the one hand I think it would be awkward to have a priest as a friend(I'm a catholic too) but on the other hand we were the best of friends for years and the only reason we didn't keep in touch was because when I moved I wasn't old enough to drive so I couldn't visit him, and in those days people just didn't make long distance calls unless there was a real good reason. I guess we could have written leters, but I'm not real good at it. Anybody else have a clergy person as a friend? Does it seem strange at times? I know they are just people too, but different,you know?

I moved to Charlotte, NC, at the beginning of the year, but haven't been able to meet many people outside of work. I just started to volunteer at a nearby raptor center to try and meet some people, and I think it's a good start, but I don't feel like it's enough. I'm 2+ years out of college, and I realize I won't have that same kind of population around me again, but I went from knowing 1000+ people there to knowing no one (It doesn't help that I've moved twice since then, always to a place where I don't know anyone :-P).

I was hoping to get some suggestions from the mob. Bars and clubs aren't really my scene when it comes to meeting people, I enjoy being able to actually converse with people without yelling. But other than that, suggest away please :-)

Oh, and I do enjoy sports, being outdoors, movies, photography, and I don't mind trying new things just for kicks.

I am applying for a private school that requires me to live on campus, transferring away from people that I've known and loved for 9 years. I'm applying because this school offers a lot of great opportunities, not because i'm running away from anything. Also, the chances that i get accepted into thihs school are VERY slim. One, very trusted friend knows. Should I tell the others before i get accepted or rejected?
