Friends - August 2006

I started talking to my manager's brother *we had just met*. After talking for about 45 minutes *I made sure he knew I had a boyfriend, etc* he randomly tells me he went on a first date with some girl and he ended up having sex with her. He said he wasn't sure if he had made a good decision or not, but that perhaps something good would come out of it. I have no idea why he decided to tell me this. Was he trying to make me jealous? or, get my reaction? I can't completely make sense out of why somebody would want random people to know all their business.

I know I do! I really wish I can find someone to get to know. Its hard finding true friendship you know.. I am 23 years old and I hope oneday God will bless me with a great female friend! I see other people with close friends and I would love that..The reason why I haven't connected I guess is because I am the only child and I was always used to being by myself. Okay this is pretty twisted- My boyfriend's ex girlfriend recently got married a couple of months ago. Turns out the Ex and our good friend's "soon to be wife" are related! The wedding is coming up Sept 23rd. I want to attend but I don't want to see the ex girlfreind if you know what I mean. From what my bf told me- their break up was and still is very bitter. I have a lot of sweet 16s to attend, and I, being male, do not know what the preferred gift is. Do girls prefer to receive jewelry or cash money as a gift? I always give good gifts, usually between $80 and $200+ depending on the friend. Would jewelery or money of this value be preferred?

Okay I have a friend who has a boyfriend and they are always going out then breaking up then going out damn for reals they make sure everyone knows and it's starting to get on my nerves! She cries for him and then the next day they're going out and being all lovey dovey! What would you do if you were in my position? This russian guy has been working on our farm for 1 year and they volunteered me to throw him a going away party at work. I have to give him a gift too. I don't know what to get him. I have been friends with my best friend for about 3 years. I adore her. She has inriched my life. Recently however, she has reconected with an old friend and I have me pushed out of the picture. I know I should be happy for her, but I'm dead jelous. To make it worse, I'm too scared to talk to her.

My best friend has started acting way weird lately.
He calls me at work all the time to talk and I kinda regret moving in with him cos he always wants to sleep in my bed! I'm NOT gay and I have a girlfriend but he insists on sharing my room and wants to be with me ALL the time!
I've known him for years and years and we're best best mates but lately he's acting so strange. he keeps making gay jokes and I laugh along but I'm sure he's hinting! He never has girlfriends and he's not bad looking, he just says he can't be bothered with them. I don't get that.
He really doesn't get along with my girlfriend and keeps telling me to 'Give up on girls.' I really don't know what's going on with him but i don't want to ruin our friendship.
We are close, real close but i mean...is this going too far?
Please someone help me...he's my best best mate! Could he fancy me?
