Love is the joy of the good, the wonder of the wise, the amazement of the Gods. At the touch of love everyone becomes a poet.
Love is composed of a single soul inhabiting two bodies.
Love is a promise, love is a souvenir, once given never forgotten, never let it disappear.
In the arithmetic of love, one plus one equals everything, and two minus one equals nothing.
Love is that condition in which the happiness of another person is essential to your own.
Each moment of a happy lover's hour is worth an age of dull and common life.
It is love, not reason, that is stronger than death.
Where there is great love there are always miracles.
We come to love not by finding a perfect person, but by learning to see an imperfect person perfectly.
When you feel cold and warm at the same time,
when you read over the same line for the tenth time,
when your heart and thoughts somehow appear to rhyme,
and when a simple name conquers your whole mind,
then you are in deep trouble my friend... you are in what they call, "love".
If you fall in love with someone put their name in a circle, not a heart, because hearts can be broken but circles go on forever!
Love isn't always perfect. It isn't a fairytale or a storybook. And it doesn't always come easy. Love is overcoming obstacles, facing challenges, fighting to be together, holding on & never letting go. It is a short word, easy to spell, difficult to define, & impossible to live without. Love is work, but most of all, Love is realizing that every hour, every minute, & every second was worth it because you did it together.

People have a big misconception of love. When they have feelings for someone or when they have lust towards a person, they think it's love. Love is not a feeling. Love is when you unconditionally care for someone and want the best for them. There is no such thing as 'falling in love' or 'falling out of love'. Either you care about the person or not. However, you can have a change of feelings for a person, which is very different from love. I guess you could say that love is blind because you can care about a person so much but they may not care about you back, even if they say they do...........

Love is unconditional! Having alot of the same interests and excepting the differences. Someone who will be there for both the ups and downs in life. Having someone to share the same life goals. Understandinding, unjudgimental, willing to talk to you about anything and everything and also there to listen when you need share, vent or need a little advice. Love is loving the other just for who they are and not wanting to mold them into another you! But really it is hard to put into words the feeling of love. Not sure if there are any words for that wonderful feeling!

Love is Accepting.
Acceptance is labeling someone as "okay" and having no particular desire to change them. Who they are is perfectly fine with you. You pose no condition on whether you will love them or not. This is call unconditional love. When your love IS conditional, the moment they step outside your set of conditions, love evaporates.
Love is Appreciating.
Appreciation is one step beyond acceptance. Its when your focus is on what you like about another. We look at them and feel this sweeping appreciation for who they are, their joy, their insights, their humor, their companionship, etc. When someone says they are "in love" with another, they mean their appreciation is so enormous for this person that it consumes their every thought.
Love is Wanting Another to Feel Good.
We want those we love to be happy, safe, healthy, and fulfilled. We want them to feel good in all ways, physically, mentally and emotionally.
How Do We Express Love?
We don’t always express our love. Love is a feeling and the expression of that feeling is separate. It’s an action. There’s a practical reason we don’t always express our love for another. It’s an issue of TIME. We only have 24 hours in a day (if you make it up that way). If the expression of love was a core ingredient to love, we would have to be stingy with who we loved, because there simply wouldn’t be enough time to demonstrate our love for everyone! If you see the distinction between the feeling and the expression, you can then love endless numbers of people

I love you whether or not you love me
I love you even if you think that I dont
Sometimes I find you doubt my love for you, but I dont mind
Why should I mind, why should I mind
Chorus
What is love anyway, does anybody love anybody anyway
What is love anyway, does anybody love anybody anyway
Can anybody love anyone so much that they will never fear
Never worry never be sad
The answer is they cannot love this much nobody can
This is why I dont mind you doubting
And maybe love is letting people be just what they want to be
The door always must be left unlocked
To love when circumstance may lead someone away from you
And not to spend the time just doubting

Love is that moment when you see someone so beautiful in your eyes that it steals your breath away. Love is the patience of two people who can disagree over a thousand things, but always find the one thing that holds them together in shared respect and mutual compassion. Love is knowing that you are never alone. Love is the song of life that you hear at dawn in a garden that is fresh with rain and filled with the scent of a perfume that awakens your deepest senses. Love is the only quest that finally makes sense for the human heart. Love is what we can discover in our lives every day if only we are willing to sacrifice our fear. Love is so gentle that it endures forever.

Love is a feeling u get when u look at that special person and u can't help but smile, u feel so happy, you wish time would stop when u r with her/him. But it's also the feeling of anguish when u r not together, when u r going to her u run, if u r driving u speed., you feel like u can't live another minute without her/him., and then when u r together again u feel like the luckiest person in the world.

Interesting question.
Love is a state of being, but the english language hardly does it justice. To us, that one word can mean so much or nothing at all.
In my viewpoint, love is not an emotion but a state of existence that changes our viewpoint and overcomes circumstances. It's also a choice, just as we choose to love people that we sometimes don't like.
Whatever love is - it is not blind. The blindness comes in how we react to love as people, but love itself is a enabler, allowing you to see deeper and to accept them for flaws and strengths.
I see my loved ones weaknesses and their strengths, just as I see my own, but I love them for and in spite of these recognizings, just the way I love myself.
Good luck!

Love, is a passion that comes from inside of your heart. When your heart skips a beat, its because youre in love. Love is also an admiration, like you admire somone, and then next thing you know you are head over heels in love with them. It has no boundaries.
