Friends - July 2006

A friend was burnt in a grease fire and lifted out to a burn center. He shoudl be home within the week. I feel aweful for him and dont' know what I can do. I am sure he will be given tons of instructions from teh Drs - what can I do? Anyone been in this situation and can offer help?
Here is the other part - I know him as a friend of a friend, but he is a goo person and I want to do what I can. Is that creepy? ;) I just feel like it is the right thing to do, but I don't want him to be like - who does this person think she is?

Ok, this is sorta complacated but I think maybe you can help. See one of my best freinds has a friend who I absolutly hate and she hates me back. I know your supposed to try and make peace but I tried and failed. Now my best friend who is friends with both of us doens't want us to fight but we want to fight each other (not physical although that would be nice but like word fight) Whenever I saw anything to this person I don't like she gets mad at my best friend and it drives me nuts! How can I get my best friend out of the middle? I've tried peace, threatening, arguing, everything and she still continuasly gets mad at my best friend. My besst friend is her friend, i don't know why she is b/c she is treated like crap, but she is and I can convince her not to be. What do I do? How do I get my friend out of the middle? How do I get revenge? should i just get my friend out and not get revenge? I need help.

i really like him but how do i make sure if he likes me any suggestions? if he hugs me will that be something?and he only talks with me in the phone but when hes around with his friends he doesn't talk to me .His friends call me Fernando (thats his name) or sometimes they call me Fernando Lover and last time he said my full name was sandra fernando martinez can u believe it i mean his the first guy to call my house and i almost got caught and my mom would of ground me and he even said that i'm a cutie but my friend likes him to and even sat on his lap and hugged him and kiss him on the cheek and he let himself . he actually acted a bit shy and i'm sacred he likes my friend and not me what should i do ?should i hug him or something?

Okay so I want to hang out with this boy. I don't know how to tell my dad without lying. If i say, ' can you take me to this boys house, (im 14 so cant drive) i want to hang out with him ' he probably won't let me cuz he will think we would do 'stuff'. I am invited to a birthday party at which my ex and crush will BOTH be at it is nether of theres birthday it is there friends party but they are both invited and so am I. I am sick and have cramps from my period (which I am on right now) and I don't want my ex or crush to see me like this. My mom is MAKING me go. My sister has a date at the mall the same day and the plan was for my mom to drop off my sis @ the mall and me and my cuz where going to go shop 2gether. What is your favorite? Do you play to win, or play for the "experience"? For example, I never, ever win at either Trivial Pursuit or Monopoly, so I play those for the experience. Every other game? I play to win.

Last night, I drank a whole bottle of Kiona White Riesling and played "Scene It". Even in my "altered state", I won!!!! ;-)

......if I accept his help for quickly gettin a part-time job?

This guy, former colleague of mine, wanted to date me a few weeks ago. I said it wouldn't be such a good idea - well, honestly, I like him a lot as a friend but nothing more, I wouldn't want to confuse him, so I didn't date, at all.

In the meantime he spoke with a common friend and found out that I am looking for a part-time job and finally he talked to some people and he told me yesterday that I could start at any time when I want!!!
I never asked for his help, didn't even know he was aware of my problems - it was a surprise.

The thing is: I really needed that help now, but I feel awkward if I accept his help. Am I a user if I accept it?????
He said he only wanted to tell me about the job, because he happened to know somebody,and he doesn't expect anything in exchange... I should not misinterpret it!
