That's a hard one. The only thing, and hardest thing to do is talk to him about it. But maybe listen to yourself fist. Do you like this guy the same way he maybe likes you??? If you do talk to him about it and say you want to take this relationship further as well but your scared it might not work. Then it's out in the open and maybe he'll come to realise that it's best just to stay friends. If it happens and it doesn't end well, don't feel bad. It happens to all of us. Some of my best friends are my previous bfs and we joke and carry on as if nothing happened. That's when I know I have a true friend that won't hold something that happened in the past.

Good luck, I know you'll make the right chose!

tell him that your not confortable with being his girlfriend, that u just want to stay friends...if you guys have been friends for this long, then he should be able to understand your decision.
yeah i was the same way w/ this guy...we were friends and then the whole dating thing didn't work out, so after we broke up, we didn't talk to each other anymore.
it felt kind of awkward...but some people do continue being friends after they've broken up. i mean, if you and your friend do go to the next level, i think you 2 will remain being friends afterwards.
but if you don't feel comfortable with the idea then let him know that...he'll probably feel the same way you do after you tell him you don't want to be with him, in that way.
hope it all works out.

okay first of all if you consider him more like a brother than you should let him know. but if you do have feelings then go for it. my best guy friend and i have been in 2 relationships and we are still best friends. if its ment to be then God will let you know. give him a chance you never know how things might work out. then if things dont work out then its for the best but if yall are best friends then you will always be friends with him no mater what.
i wish you the best of luck

talk to him about it, then do a sort of "trial run" as bf/gf - if it doesnt work out, no hard feelings and if it does..........bonus!

hope everythin turns out great
