I'm going to propose to my girlfriend in 2 weeks. I'm taking her to the Butchard Gardens in Victoria, BC, Canada. I just haven't figured out exactly how I'm going to do it or what I'm going say. Any ideas? Also, if anyone has ever been to the Butchard Gardens, do you know of a good spot to do it?

A friend asked me to visit, and we set a time and a day. She called at the right time (wrong day) very upset and wanting to know where I was. I told her I thought it a different day. She was upset with me. Then I e-mailed her to say I was sorry, I had thought a different day, and thought we had plans to do certain things. She realized we could do these things only on the day origionally planned. She called to see if I could still come on that day, and never a word about her being wrong.

I had unprotected sex in a very safe zone, whihc is one was a day before my period came and the other one is a weak later just after my period, and now my period is late by 4 days? Okay, my boyfriend of two years showed me the engagement ring he wants to give to me. Its a family heirloom and its equals a carat in diamonds, but I don't like it at all. Its hideous, its not me at all, and its nothing I want to wear for the rest of my life. I think I kind of hurt his feelings when I told him I didn't like it that much but he kind of hurt mine by not putting thought into it and getting a ring that was me. Should I take the ring that I don't like or wait for him to get me a new one?

By the way, by not taking this ring I'm not saying I don't want to marry him. He didn't really propose, he just showed me the ring.
