I have heard from the news and scientist friends that the water vapor in certain areas of the world are actually worse than CO2. Is this another liberal hoax or reality?

I don't support the GW myth... I live in the evergreen state of washington and it has always been green since my family moved here from san diego in 1990. We've had cold days, hot days, wet days, sunny days... but we accept it as changing of seasons. I know in san diego there's only 2 seasons, hot and just right.

Born in Manila, Philippines and lived there till I was 10 I know for a fact its hot and its been hot and humids since my parents can remember and my grandparents and so on. This GW click is born from one man and he's making a killing off it.

Before Al Gore and his doctor-mentary have anyone ever talked about global warming from your own personal conversations with your neighbors and community?

Scientists have proven, with numbers, that greenhouse gases are mostly responsible for global warming. Here are the calculations, short and (very) long versions. The long has reams of detail and hundreds of references.

http://ipcc-wg1.ucar.edu/wg1/wg1-report.html
summarized at:

Increased radiation from the sun, volcanoes, or "natural cycles" can't explain most of global warming. The numbers don't work. Greenhouse gases can explain most of it.

Skeptics debate. But scientists calculate. Which is why almost every scientific organization accepts man made warming as fact.

Note this, especially the crucial word "quantitative".

"There's a better scientific consensus on this [climate change] than on any issue I know... Global warming is almost a no-brainer at this point,You really can't find intelligent, quantitative arguments to make it go away."

We all grow lawns whether the climate permits or not and use fertilizers to maintain the lawns. Why is that there is not enough talk on how to improve the garden habits to combat global warming? What are the gardens we need to have? Please answer by telling the climate you are living in.

Is there an excahnge or trading network for large CO2 emitting corporations to buy carbon credits in order to stay below their limits?

I was reading about some of the effects of global warming the other day, and thought about all the carbon dioxide that is dissolved in the oceans....etc...

Surely if the temperature of earths surface increases, it will decrease solubility of gases in water and more CO2 will be released into the atmosphere, which in turn, would cause even more temperature increase....etc

If this would actually happen (not entirely sure if my logic is correct!) Why havent i ever read about it?

Could someone who knows more about this subject than me tell me whether this would actually happen too please =)

Thanks for your time!

Since carbon dioxide is considered a "green house gas", are people who work out frequently really the cause of Al gore's "Global Warming"? According to what he is saying, you can save the earth by sitting around and being as still as possible. Should I be trying to limit how much I breathe?
Also, what about smokers? It seems that they would emit much more Co2 and other gasses than regular non-smokers.

Why does Al and other Celebs try and raise a fuss about something that cannot be controlled. Is there something I can take to change my exhaled breath into something that is good for the earth?

Will the lack of clean water inhibit their growth?

China is going online with a new coal fired electric power plant every two weeks even though people are sick and dieing from polluted water and air in alarming numbers.

Two thirds of India's population does not have fresh water.

Will this hold them back from progress?

Anyone with any knowledge about global warming science who's seen this film will agree that it's full of misinformation. Probably the worst of it is the claim that the Midieval Warm Period was hotter than today. The only criticism I've seen of Gore's film was that the "hockey stick graph" was inaccurate in that it de-emphasized the MWP. This film does the exact opposite - taking a similar graph and inflating the MWP, which I find very ironic and hypocritical. Here are 10 seperate temperature reconstructions that look nothing like that in the film:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:2000_Year_Temperature_Comparison.png

I could go through and debunk the film, but I don't have room here and there are entire websites devoted to it.

Considering how full the film is of bad science and misinformation, and that it's supposed to be some scathing indictment of the supposed global warming hoax, is the fact that the filmmakers couldn't do any better evidence IN FAVOR of man-made GW?

Keeping in mind that the U.S. is one of the few nations that has ratified the Kyoto Protocol because it "would ruin the economy" (Bush) - do you think making a profit has something to do with the mostly domestic (U.S.) controversy surrounding human activity as significantly involved w/ accelerating climate change?

For example:
Some might argue environmentalists have a lot to gain by getting millions in research grants, hocking their "green" wares for profit, and making bank by raising taxes (o! those pesky, profiteering liberals!).

Others might say Corporations, such as the Petroleum Industry, have a lot to lose, especially if alarmed citizens want alternative energy sources.

And still others might say Eternal Salvation in priceless: Global Warming is a sign of the Apocalypse and is awesome for the saved!

Where do you stand? Who has the most to gain/lose? What do YOU personally have to gain/lose on your side of the "debate"?
