With the latest series of X Factor ending just in time to guarantee a Christmas number one for whoever won it. Has he single handedly stopped anyone trying for a real Christmassy number one?

There Was a TV Show here in Ireland in the late 80s early 90s that had the same cast playing different characters every week. It was usually a mystery/detective story and it may have been canadian because (as I recall) a lot of the actors names were french. This has been driving me crazy for years so any help would be great!

What makes a good television show for you? Are you an action junky? A romant-a-holic? How about a comedy freak? When you start watching a show, how long does it take for you to get hooked on it?

I didn't start watching Lost until about 2/3's of the way through the first season. I downloaded the pilot and was immediately smitten with the show. It was just a great idea and the characters were completely believable and the actors are all great. My only concern, which I now know was unfounded, was that "where are they going to take this? They're lost on an island, what can they possibly do now?" But that was quickly answered and before I knew it I was downloading Lost like crazy.

It was very similar to 24. What a great show. I didn't start watching this until the 3rd season, or Day 3 as they call it. I downloaded the first few episodes as a friend told me it was a great show and that I should download the first few episodes before I start watching, because once I do I'd "have" to keep wa
