I liked Daybreak, it seems cable is a better place for offbeat shows

Over the years there have been a ton of them. Most recently, "Invasion" which was on last year. Kept hoping it would be renewed instead of leaving us hanging. Oh well...

I liked this show called "First Edition". It was a really long time ago though, and I was really mad when they cancelled it. It was about this guy in New York who, ever morning, would get a news paper from the next day. So he would look and see if anything really bad happened (like a woman getting killed in a fire or something along those lines) and he would try and stop it form coming true. It was always well thought out and it made the brain think more about things like "what if?" so I was extremely unhappy when they cancelled it.

There was a show called "Action" that starred Jay Mohr. Unfortunately it was kind of risque and probably would have fared better on pay cable than NBC. It was cancelled after about 6 shows I believe. I liked it and thought it had great potential.
Another one in that same vein was "Profit" which starred Adrian Pasdar. It was a very dark show but very interesting. It also only lasted a handful of episodes before being cancelled.

I miss Friends horribly, but I was the saddest when Growing Pains, Who's the Boss, and Macgyver all ended on the same night shortly followed by Wonder Years.

Third Watch, American Dreams, Justice (it was canceled, right?), Medical Investigation, American Embassy, Due South, Futurama (even though it is coming back in '08)...

Pup : That show was Early Edition, and I loved it also! It was really good!

The AMerican version of Men Behaving Badly starring ROb Schneider, damn that show was funny. I was also a big fan of Duckman.
