The final episode was a two parter. It was when they were getting ready to bring Darlene's baby home and then they actually brought her home. It was called "Into that Good Night part 1 and part 2.
It lasted 9 seasons.

On the final episode she was in the basement writing about what she didn't like about her life and how she changed it in her imagination. The show lasted about 8 seasons.
