If they walked to The Others' little town, and Hurley walked back to their camp, why would Sawyer believe that they are on a completely different island. Did I miss someone swimming or taking a ride on a boat?

I had forgotten about Hurley walking back! Henry told Sawyer (and supposedly showed him) that they were on a different island; but what's to stop it from being a cluster of islands, so there's always another island you can look across at. At least I've got something to think about until it comes back on.

This is what happened: After Henry led Sawyer to believe that they put a pacemaker in him (they let him think that for a few days) Henry walked him out onto a cliff edge and told him that it was all a lie. They really didn't put anything in him. He told him to look out and there was another island. Henry told them that the island he was looking at was the island that Sawyer came from and they were on another island. That's how Sawyer knew and when Kate climbed out of her cage he was telling her not to because he knew there was no place for them to run. Remember they woke up at the others camp. They wouldn't remember the boat ride because the others knocked them out somehow.

I'm so lost, no pun intended btw.
I guess I should watch all the eppys on my Tivo during the break, if I ever want to get back into it.

They want swayer to believe he can't go back to their camp. They want him to feel helpless.

You did not miss anything. The show is seriously convoluted. I'm almost happy the show is on fall break, so I can rest my brain.
