Rosie, Britney, Katie, TomSnatch, bad televangelists, gay actors, and other stupid celebrities are always in the news. Why don't we just ignore them and turn off the TV? Is it that hard?

It isn't hard when you live way out in the country so that cable doesn't reach here and satellite is prohibitively expensive for my limited budget. Even the antenna blows off course regularly--I watch one show a week, on PBS. That's it! Now, if I had cable/satellite, I'd be glued to A&E, Sci-Fi Channel, Cartoon Network, TV Land, The Learning Channel, Discovery, Turner classic movies and the like--not the drivel you're referring to on sensation-TV. But I'm addicted to the internet instead...oh well!

If I'm in my bed and I can't find my remote then, yes, it is very hard to turn off the tv. So I guess I will have to watch Access Hollywood after all.

Never watch that drivel....I like BBC America, Sci Fi, FX, Spike, BIO, Animal Planet, Travel, Food and similar channels.

It is very hard to turn off the TV especially when your remote has no batteries and you have to get up from the sofa to shut it.

I used to watch all that crap and then when i got to college I didnt have time any more. Now when I turn it on my only thought is WTF was I thinking.
