Have you noticed that today’s BBC is too politically correct & pro Labour, compared to a decade ago? If so, read on:

The BBC is unique as it relies on public licence fee for funding. This has enabled the BBC to be free from political & corporate influence, letting it focus on informative, entertaining & original production. The BBC’s independence let it expose political corruption or corporate scandals without repercussion.

Not any more. It’s quietly changed.

Blair re-classed the licence fee & labelled it a tax. As taxes are allocated & overseen by government, the BBC has lost independence & become accountable to Blair.

A Labour cabinet member now oversees the BBC & rewrote the charter this year.

The old Charter role was to “.Inform & entertain”

It’s now "sustaining citizenship and civil society" based on Labour objectives

As the BBC now has a duty to Labour rather than just us, and as the BBC is a politically correct Labour mouthpiece, should we refuse to pay the licence fee?

Doctor Who, currently starring David Tennent as the 10th Doctor is a great show. but there are some loose ends and gaps that should be tied up. For example, what caused the 8th doctor (Paul Mcgann) to regenerate into the 9th Doctor? Some say it happened during the great Time War. . I say have an episode that has a one time return of Paul Mcgann and Christopher Eccleson - have 8th and 10th Doctors fight side by side during the Time war, but the 8th doctor is severly injured, and regerates into the 9th Doctor- The time Lords try to time scoop all 13 of the Doctors, but can only get a few- perhaps all the Doctors from Colin Baker on. Baker shows his age, so have him trapped in a time eddy...For one thing, bring back the Brigadier. I am glad Sarah jane smith made an appearance.
Should past Doctors make an appearance? It happened before in 'The three Doctors', 'The Five Doctors', and 'The Two Doctors'.

Well, Josh might be tied with the Drake look that's on this show season. I don't know about the things people are thinking since his mom said he hasn't had time to shave. It takes 5-10 mins to shave. He was hosting Nickelodeon for 5 days. he was hot as hell before. Since Josh looks better is his look now than before anyway, and since Drake has this thick facial hair, you think Josh is now cuter?

The Kringles sing about making toys for the king and we see several pictures (drawings) of the king. He has diamond shaped glasses and distinctive facial hair. Later in the program we see the Burgermeister raid the home of a man with children and stockings hanging by the fire. The man has a strong resemblance to the pictures of the king. Have you ever noticed this?

What have I missed since this show began? I've been trying to watch re-runs, and I catch bits and pieces of major sub plot twists including: a Sara/Grissom connection, and Grissom/Sophia connection, and a Warrick/Catherine connection as well. Now Grissom and Willows are on different shifts, and she's a supervisor? And when did Eric Szmanda get out of the DNA lab? Could someone fill me in on the back stories behind what's been going on? It's distracting me from watching the show because I've missed years worth of character developing stories!!!
