I used to fancy one of them, but I can't think which one?
Can you name the members?
One of them, I think went to Cambridge U.K.

SORRY SPELLING MISTAKE
"MONKEES".
Thanks for your feedback.
Must have been Mickey who was at Cambridge.

Davy jones was the youngest and the cutest! He was the British one!

The others were Mike Nesmith - the one who always wore a hat!
Mickey Dolenz - who played the drums
and Peter Tork - who played bass

My fav song of theirs has to be - I'm a believer!

I've tried my hardest to find out which one went to Cambridge but I can't find it! Sorry!

No, but I used to watch The Monkees whose members included Mike Nesmith, Davy Jones, Peter Tork and Mickey Dolenz.

Mike Nesmith is from Texas and his mother invented Liquid Paper...just a fun fact.

I can't find anything that states any of them went to Cambridge.

Mike Nesmith
Peter Thorkleson (Tork)
Davy Jones
Michael (Micky) Dolenz
Peter Tork came to the Monkees after playing in several bands, the Mugwumps being one of them. Mike Nesmith was the only member of the band who was married, but it was kept a closely guarded secret.
Mickey Dolenz couldn't play the drum at all when he joined. He subsequently learnt. He was a child star from the series Circus Boy.
Davy Jones was born in Manchester UK and was in the soap opera Coronation Street, before leaving for USA. He now owns a stud farm for Race Horses.
I was one of the Monkees BIGGEST fans.

I was very very young, but I was in love with Davy Jones.
Do you remember their song? Didn't it go something like this?
Hey, Hey were the Monkeys, People say we monkey around, but were to busy singing to put anybody down.
Were just trying to be friendly... I can't remember any more.
They were so funny!
Wasn't there a guy dressed up in a big monkey suit with sunglasses and a funny tie?
Happy Holidays!

Wow that takes me back!

Loved that programme! Loved Davy Jones too- until I grew and he didn't...
Broke my heart to think he wouldn't fancy me as I would have towered over him!
