I do agree. Modern technology has overwhelmed people with entertainment and information. Television, music, mobile, computers....we are devoting our precious time with all these gadgets...and thus what conventionally used to be creativity...is at the back bench.

Yes, the conventional creative works, like writing, reading, painting, sculpture etc...are low on priorities these days and so I am in agreement with you.

I disagree, internet is interactive, so it also stimulates people to ben creative. Not to forget the millions of people that have weblogs, websites etc.
