laugh out loud or lots of love???????

Okay, I'm sure like a bagillion pplz posted this, but does "lol" mean "laugh out loud" or "lots of love?" I've alwayz used it for laugh out loud, but they were talking about it today on the radio, and it made me wonder. (Yes, Big D & Bubba, if u're reading this, I was listening 2 u).

How much did you spend for your first car and what type fo car was it?

I spent $1200 for a 1990 Hond Prelude when i was 17, nice little car. it served me well until i was flying across some rail road tracks and i kind of got up and when i came back down i cracked my tranny, lol.
