I think it was a 351 Windsor in a Ford Grand Torino back in the '80's. I also had a Chevy Impala with a 350 in the 80's. I've probably had a car or two with a 400 motor in it, but I just can't remember. In the 80's, I went through quite a few cars that were built in the 70's. There were lots of V-8's back then.

I once had an older car with a V-8 engine. It was powerful but an incredible gas hog.

My first car was a baby blue 1977 Oldsmobile Toronado.
You spell that B-A-T-T-L-E-S-H-I-P.
It had a 403 c.i. beast.
It was front-wheel drive, weighed two tons and would smoke the front tires.

We have a new Lincoln Towncar, the engine is a V8. I don't know if that is large by your standards? It sure does suck some gas.
