....a reformed ex-felon with his own successful business, good home , yada yada yada etc......would I be still considered good enough for a cop's daughter?

im thinking about starting my own group for AA meetings. would you join it?

i have only been to one AA meeting in my life, it sucked. it was a bunch of alcoholics sitting around with no alcohol. yeah that was really fun. first off i dont understand the anonymous thing, most of the meetings take place in public buildings that anyone can attend. and its all alcoholics but they dont serve any alcohol. my meetings would be different. they would be at a resort on a secluded island in the carribean, and all the drinks would be free. but i would enforce the twelve steps. step 1, get a drink. step 2, drink it. step 3 get another drink. step 4 drink it. and so on. and if anyone wasnt satisfied with the twelve steps they would have to keep repeating them. would you come to my AA meetings?

Do you like the song "You're Beautiful" by James Blunt?

I know it has been asked before but I still love the song.
Blunt is able to convey the emotion of a glance or smile from a special someone (be it someone he knew or a total stranger) who simply touched his heart as well as etched their beauty in his mind. It's a simple song coming straight from the heart and It's Beautiful (and sad). It gets my attention every time I hear it just as a glance or smile from a beautiful, special someone would.

What was your favorite mandatory reading book in high school?

Did your school do this? Where the whole class read the book together, took tests on it and used it as a goup activity? My all time favorite was To Kill A Mockingbird, followed closely by The Cruicible. What was yours?

I have been called to serve one time, but I couldn't be on the jury because the case was against the nursing home where my grandfather lived, and they said I would be unable to give an unbiased verdict.
