If a black cat passed by you, is it bad luck?
If you say "never" do you have you to knock on wood? otherwise it's bad luck?

I do. I have made several u-turns to avoid crossing a black cats path. I hate cats!
I knock many times on wood and have red knuckles to prove it.
Besides that, if I didn't have bad luck, I wouldn't have any luck at all.

Many people knock wood when they boast that such and such has never happened to them, yet so they knock on wood as they finish saying it. or simply say "knock on wood".
Black cats can't help it if they are black, so no I don't believe that it is bad luck. Just like the number 13.

I have several black cats and they're my GOOD luck. And I usually don't knock on wood.

I like black cats, I have 23 of them... never gave me bad luck

Yes, I'm superstitious, but no, I don't think black cats are bad luck, nor walking under a ladder..........13 is my lucky number. Heaven forbid I spill salt though!

I think that it's good luck especially if your walking undera ladder when the black cat crosses your path.

I'm not superstitious at all. I've had a few black cats. Cute & fuzzy? Yes. Death on legs? Not quite.

Only if I am walking my very large dog that thinks everything is a play toy, I can NEVER hold her back.

I'm very superstitious and I believe in that. My whole family is but that doesn't mean that every one is!
