I haven't in the past, but where we're living now (out in the country) there really isn't a problem because we aren't too close to anyone.

yea, if you ever do move back to neighbors, try mowing a piece of lawn for them, watering some plants, raking leaves, etc. any little piece of yardwork works

I wish I lived where you did! I don't know my neighbors that well, but they can be pretty noisy at times. But it's a part of life when you live in an apartment or townhouse. When my hubby and I start looking to buy a house, we want to try and find one that's out of the way, so that we can have some quiet, and also so that we won't be a bother on the rare occasion that we want to have a party and turn the music up as well :)

No neighbours for miles here, either. Which is why I do so like this place.

Knowing myself as I do, though, I don't think I'd put up with nuisance neighbours for many minutes before I set about kicking their door down and sorting the problem with a pick axe handle.

I reckon I'd be a great neighbour for a good neighbour, but a real nightmare for a bad one.

I live on a dead end street in the country and get along with the whole street.

On one side of me, I have a woman who has three kids by three different daddies, married to none of them. She can't seem to keep a job, goes out partying alot, and I have no respect for her at all. The guy behind me is a typically caricatured Southern racist redneck who drinks too much and talks too fast. He gets on my nerves. On the other side, there is an old guy who has Parkinsons and his wife. They are okay. Across the street, we wave.

I live in an apartment building. and there's a particular neighbor who is very rude. I hold doors for him and he just looks at me weird and he doesn't say thank you. Whenever we pass by him, he looks down on the ground and avoids eye contact so we wouldn't say hi.

Yes, I have a garage apt in the back of my yard that is the home of a 20 year old single guy. He is easy, no problems whatsoever.

generally we keep to ourselves...we have no problems with our neighbors except one who lives around the corner and tries to make everyones business his own...its an older man and woman and they drive by our house all the time(when they can easily go on thier own road) and I have seen his wife stop in front of our house numerous times, im not exactly sure what she is trying to see, but it is really annoying.....

I'm friendly and easy going with my neighbors.
The usual wave, hello, how are you. But....I
prefer to keep our social lives separated. Cause
if you start hanging out with them, first thing you
know, someone gets mad or upset, then you
are stuck living beside them. So far, it has worked
out perfectly for us and we are all good neighbors.

Yes, I get along with them but we are not close friends. Everyone pretty much keeps to themselves.
