If you are driving on the highway and there are no buisnesses nearby and you see a woman or a elderly person having car trouble along side the road do you stop and assist them or just keep on trucking?

This happened to me a few years ago but I felt no danger so stopping was no problem. If security was an issue I might hand them my cell phone w/out leaving the car. If it looked like a setup, or if I had a child with me, I’d call the police w/out stopping.

Absoultly Not. This is a dangeous practice and a really good scam for thieves. (an old one at that). I would happily call for help as I drove by.(Police, Road Ranger (Florida) whatever they needed but would never stop)

Yes you stop, but it doesn't have to be a woman or an elderly person exclusively.

My husband will stop and so whatever he can to get them back on the road. If it just me I'll offer to make a call for them.

Call roadside assistance for them. Cuz you never know if they have a gun or a dangerous weapon. Just because they're women or elderly people doesn't mean they're harmless.

Yes, I would stop. If it were me on the side of the road, I would hope someone would stop.

I'll just keep going but I'll call the highway patrol so they can come help her out. I wouldnt be able to help her anyway.

I'd drive past, but call the police to let them know.

I was jumped and my car stolen at a "honey trap" such as that you describe.
