To love and hate someone at the same time.

For instance, i know someone. I love her dearly. She means the world to me because she was one of my biggest sources of inspiration. However, there are little things that she does all the time that just get to me. I want to kill her but hug her at the same time.

Is this normal? Or am i a freak of nature?
