It seems that way, but things usually even out in the end. It's karma.
I remember a saying from a book by Laura Ingalls Wilder. "It all evens out. Rich people have ice in the summer and poor people have ice in the winter."

I think the reason bad things happen to good people is because there are no 100% good people. Everyone must accept Jesus as his or her Savior in order to get to Heaven.

It seems to me, that bad things happen to everyone, it just seems to bother us more when bad things happen to people who are truly good.

Sometimes but if you look deeper behind the cause and affect, there's usually a reason. Religion and faith play a part in tragic situations.
