Sadly, they all run a risk of addiction, but I found Concerta wasn't that bad

Off and on for adult ADD. Very addictive. I wish there was something that wasn't. Fortunately, mine are one a day, first thing in the morning. When I start wanting a pill in the afternoon, I know it is time to take a rest from the meds.
Partly I am answering this to follow the other answers.

I am currently taking riddelen whicch works amazingly,. This , according to my doctor, is the only way to cure add besides hours of therapy. The downsides are, mood swings, and occasional headaches. I really can pay attention much easier with this stuff. Talk to your doctor
Good luck

Go to a doctor and get your real diagnosis. skip the add/adhd answer. That is the answer doctors give when they don't want to spend time finding the real problem.
