THERE'S A "COUNTRY" RADIO STATION HERE THAT "CLAIMS" TO PLAY CLASSIC COUNTRY FROM 8TO10 AM ON SUN AM, WELL THIS NUCKLE HEADED DJ TRIES EVERY TRICK IN THE BOOK TO THROW SOME OF THE RECENT ARTIST IN THE MIX TOO, FOR EXAMPLE..ONE MORNING THE THEME WAS SUPPOSE TO BE"DRINKING SONGS" CAN SOME ONE PALEEEEEZE TELL ME WHY DID THIS "BAFOON" PLAY "STRAWBERRY WINE" BY DEANA CARTER?????...THE SONG IS A COOL SONG IN IT'S PLACE BUT IT'S NOT "CLASSIC" 1ST OF ALL AND SHE'S CERTAINLY NOT A" LEGEND"!...SO THIS IS HOW ME AND 25 OF MY FRIENDS ARE HANDLING THIS PROB..
MY FRIEND WHO OWNS A BAR RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET FORM THE STATION IS GONNA LET ME AND THE BAND SET UP IN THE PARKING LOT AND PLAY REAL" CLASSIC COUNTRY MUSIC"..LOUD AND PROUD FOR THE NEXT 3 SUNDAY MORNINGS WITH LINE DANCERS AND ALL! YA THINK HE'LL GET THE MESSAGE? HE CAN LOOK RIGHT OUT THE WINDOW AND SEE AND HEAR US TOO, WE'VE GOT THE OK FROM THE CITY ALREADY..WHAT DO YOU THINK?

im looking to download a song from the "urban cowboy" soundtrack. the problem is that im not really sure what is the songs name. This is for anyone who has seen that movie (which is one great movie). anyway, its the very first song that is played at the beginning of the movie. you know when he is leaving his parent's home and going to uncle bob's. I thought it sounded like the charlie daniels band but im not sure its them. if anyone can tell me the name of the band and the name of the song itself that would be great. thanks!

This country line dance is done at almost every country-western night club. It is a very simple dance that is always done to the same song. It's a female rap song, but I'm not sure of the name of it. I'm talking about Brenda Lee! Even though she might've been considered early R&R, she was just as much country too! Since she never had a movie made about her like Patsy Cline or Loretta Lynn, she's been too easily overlooked! Have you heard her song "Too Many Rivers" or "All Alone Am I", or "Fool #1" or "As Usual" or "Coming On Strong" or "Break It To Me Gently"? This woman deserves to be remembered too, right along with Loretta, Patsy, Kitty, and Dolly!
