I was behind a bunch of people going to the Kenny Chesney concert in Pittsburgh and many of the cars were waving these flags and had "interesting" messages written on the side of their cars. What are your thoughts??

Despite what people say about "Southern Pride", I think waving the confederate flag makes it clear people would have supported the South winning the Civil War and is associated with supporting slavery and the (messed up) way things "used to be". It has a legacy of racism, lynching, segregation and "good old boy" associated with it, so people who fly it tend to be racist in their thinking.

It is a statement of supporting the fact of your southern heritage. We don't have a Southern States Day or Dixieland Day across the whole country do we? but yet we celebrate every other other groups or persons heritages or beliefs don't we. Not quite FAIR or EVEN now is it? Funny how our government would consider some people racists and other not! Let's take a look at the REAL racists in this country. It's our government that allows these days to be celebrated.

I am afraid that the hillbilly idiots have taken country as their official rollin' music because one of the things that defines country music is the simplicity of the song structure, because country musician don't understand why making a song that is already good more complicated than necessary would make the song better. And for imbred dimwits, simplicity is essential.
