That is a hard question, but Merle Haggard comes to mind. Some others are George Jones, Vern Gosdin, Loretta Lynn, the Hanks...Thompson, Snow, Williams, and some of the "newer but not all that new" ones like Vince Gill, Marty Stuart, Gene Watson, Charlie Pride, Ricky Skaggs, .....the list could go on and on.
