I don't know many Loretta Lynn songs. Just "Coal Miner's Daughter."
Kinda strkes a chord with me, though my dad was a steel mill foreman (who worked hard along side his men), but he made good money, so we lived well. BUt the KIND OF work he did, I can kinda see the similarities. Especially since "October Sky" is one of my favorite movies, and the dad in there looks, talks, acts, EXACTLY like my dad. Down to the work clothes (minus the little light on the hat).
