Our band (Clarkston Country) has a very IMPORTANT GIG coming up and I'm looking to sing some FRESH songs! They must be CLASSIC of course, not too much of a TEAR JERKER though. Can anyone seriously tell me why everyone sings in American accent? This has baffled me my whole life so I decided to finally just ask somebody! I know the English mostly sing in an American accent unless you start getting into punk or something, ie. The Sex Pistols... lots of country's do this. I listen to a Swedish singer and SHE sings 'American'. What the heck?!
