The best "poet of the common man" ever, Hag's lyrics are real, and heartbreaking. Poetic, yet plain. It is common nowadays for songwriters to write sad songs, but they are insincere and ridiculous for the most part. Especially when delivered by some disingenuous, tone-deaf hack like Tim McGraw or Kenny Chesney. Merle Haggard should be able to write his own ticket in the country music world, yet sadly, he is all but ignored by the Nashville establishment.

I have a beautiful black (bright shiny wood) Kawai upright piano that I received some time ago.
It is in perfect shape (I never play it or my family) and has the following markings inside the top portion. A gold emblem Kawai KK" and marked NS-20A. There there is a stamp 2124902 in there as well. It has three I guess brass foot pedals and an electrical cord coming out the bottom?? I have the matching perfect bench that came with it. It is on wheels and weighs an incredible amount (took 5 guys to lift it up 4 stairs). It appears perfect except the medal hinges and foot pedals have some minor discoloration (just need shining).
I went on a piano site and got a ton of different answers. I contacted dealers here and consignment shops and I dont think I found an honest one yet. All tried to scam offering 500-2000, some saying it is worth as much as 3000. Can anyone help and advise a good way to sell?? THANKS ALL

I'd say the most overrated album of this decade is Hybrid Theory by Linkin Park... I'm not saying that it's not a good album, but it's too overrated I think... It went DIAMOND!!!

I am composing a piece of music that is featuring the Clarinet. I read an article about it, and the article said there were many differnet kinds of clarinet.

My question is, do the different types of Clarinet exist simply for the purpose of playing specific scales and registers, or are there actually different in sound & timbre? And when I'm composing for the Clarinet, will I have to specify WHICH Clarinet I'm writing the music for, or will the performing artist choose the type of Clarinet used based on his/her understanding of the piece?

Thanks a lot.

ok so if your listening to a song backwords, aren't you listening to the words backwords? so how does the whole subliminal message thing supposedly work? cuz if you look at lyrics and read them backwords, they don't say anything, it's just jumbled!
also, what programs do you even use to do something like that?

Wagner is my favorite composer, followed closely by Jean Sibelius and guess who: P.I. Tschaikowsky(no remarks about spelling; I've seen 3 or 4 different versions).

But to the "Liebestod":

What is the best recording(age doesn't matter), with, or without the voice, is the best you've ever heard.

Or for that matter, live performance attended.

I have purchased a 12-hole sweet potato ocarina and have no way of figuring out how to play it. I tried to understand the finger chart and I know where to put my fingers, but I don't know everything else; that means I don't know when I have to blow harder or softer, when I have to change my finger positioning, what a beat is and how to implement them with the ocarina. What kind of lessons or classes should I look for in order to play it? Would appreciate any positive answers, Thank You.

I love to hear "I'll Fly Away" with it's old-time country gospel rhythm. So many of the songs at our church are those new things that just repeat, repeat, repeat. No harmony and not much soul. What's one of your favorites?

It's a love song and I think it's something like let it rain, or wiching for rain, or waiting for rain. It's sung by a woman. I heard it on the radio a couple days ago and didn't hear who it was by and haven't heard it since.
