I used to have this compilation of some really good jazz music that had great drumming and great everything else that was uplifting and now that I want it, I cant find it. There is this rock song that sounds like it's from the 1960's-70's but I'm not sure. A woman sings it and it starts off slow and ends very powerfully. There is a line that includes "and the red queen..." I'm sorry this is all I remember, cause I haven't heard it in a while, but once they played it in a record store and most of the people sang along with it, so it's popular. Please help! This song haunts me and I don't know where to turn! Thanks!!!

Ok, so I know this song is not a remake, but it definitely sounds like another (older) song that came out by another band. Unfortunately I can't remember what it is. Everytime I try to hum it to myself, I almost get it and then "Delilah" screws me up! The melody is really similar and even the way the guy sings it is almost the same!
Anybody else hearing that?
Anyone have a clue?

It's driving me crazy!

I remember watching VH1 back in 2001 about the time Avril's "Complicated" video was hitting TV's but she wasn't big yet. There was a band with a video that had an awesome guitar intro that was very melodic. The band looked young (teens maybe). The lead singer was blonde and looked like a little boy. The video takes place outside on a hill and that's about all there was to it. The intro'ing guitar riff is played through almost the entire song but I definitely remember it played in the intro and chorus. I think the bands name was abbreviated, like INXS, but obviously it wasn't them. I think these guys were a one hit wonder at the time but VH1 played them alot. Does this ring a bell with anyone? I know I'm not much help but my memory is not what it used to be.

Can anyone give me some sort of short biography or at least glimpse into his work. Its rather curious you know? His very simple variations on the same scale but they are haunting and cerebral reaching out to a timid personality in all of us. Anyone know how he does it or how he got so popular?
