Yep, I do agree with you. No, that's the understatement of the century, I totally, extremely agree with you! The music express so many feelings that I can actually feel them. I can tell whether if it is a sort of romantic song of or a song which shows anger or something. I can't say I am crazy about rock songs, but once I listen to one of them, I will just...melt into the meanings, the feelings.....sorry, am I leaving the subject? Anyway, I can't deny that I agree with you! Rock music is a passionate, furious, sort of music! Rock music rocks! They"re the best!

if you're talking mainstream, then NO, its pretty much just the same number of guitar riffs no experimenting, plus no experimenting with drums no wonder, because that music is for mediocre kids.
underground music is different story. I grew up on some 70' 80' 90 ' that were passion was, kiss slayer, Accept

I totally agree with you! Whenever I want to really experience my feelings, I figure out what songs would help. I actually express myself through music. I think rock has the best lyrics as far as being meaningful. I also love guitars and drum solos and fills. It just really can put me into any mood I want to be in!

It depends. Pretty much all modern mainstream 'rock' is just pop with guitars and drums, which all the kids call rock because they don't know any better. But yes, older and more powerful rock is built soley on the passion and emotion of the artist, making it incredibly strong and heartfelt.
