There is this rock song that sounds like it's from the 1960's-70's but I'm not sure. A woman sings it and it starts off slow and ends very powerfully. There is a line that includes "and the red queen..." I'm sorry this is all I remember, cause I haven't heard it in a while, but once they played it in a record store and most of the people sang along with it, so it's popular. Please help! This song haunts me and I don't know where to turn! Thanks!!!

White Rabbitt...Jefferson Airplane, and the lead vocal of the band is Grace Slick. One of my favorite from the psychedelic 60's era. This song is from 1967. I remember it well. I was in high school at the time.

The song is "White Rabbit" by the Jefferson Airplane. The lead singer is Grace Slick. They were a legendary band from San Francisco . They and the Grateful Dead epitomized the psychedelic era in the bay area.
