classic rockers.. please help me?

i'm a 13 year old girl and for my whole life i've been all about classic rock. the beatles, led zeppelin, the doors, the animals.. and other rock.. like ac/dc. and i LOVE david bowie. well, i basicly ALWAYS bash my friends for listening to hip hop, rap, and stuff like panic! at the disco, fall out boy, and yeah. but recently i heard a song called "hey there delilah" (i think) by the plain white tees (i think) and.. i love it. ]: i can't help it, it's so good.

do you aprove of this song? (i do not want some 50 cent lovin' person answering this question. i JUST want rock n' rollers answering this, please.) and no matter if you do or don't, can you tell me some of the newer bands you like to listen to? if not bands then songs.

"Happy to be stuck with you" Do you know who sang this song?

This may not be the title but it was part of the refrain. Other lyrics were "We've got all the same friends and the same address" The song is probably at least ten to fifteen years old. Help! =-)

Are Beethoven symphonies best played by German orchestras ?

all my fave recordings (most of them historic vinyl) are by German musicians.
do they have a special "something" when it comes to Beethoven ?.if i see a new disc by a non-german orchestra i seldom bother,am i missing out ?
i have the occaisional Austrian ones but i'm wondering if Beethoven is similar to Wagner in that the best albums are from Germany.
