i'm a 13 year old girl and for my whole life i've been all about classic rock. the beatles, led zeppelin, the doors, the animals.. and other rock.. like ac/dc. and i LOVE david bowie. well, i basicly ALWAYS bash my friends for listening to hip hop, rap, and stuff like panic! at the disco, fall out boy, and yeah. but recently i heard a song called "hey there delilah" (i think) by the plain white tees (i think) and.. i love it. ]: i can't help it, it's so good.

do you aprove of this song? (i do not want some 50 cent lovin' person answering this question. i JUST want rock n' rollers answering this, please.) and no matter if you do or don't, can you tell me some of the newer bands you like to listen to? if not bands then songs.

p.s. don't say, "OH, you shouldn't worry if you like a song or not, it's all your personal taste, just listen to what you like..." STFU. IDC WHAT YOU HAVE TO SAY IF YOU'RE GOING TO GIVE ME A LAME ANSWER LIKE THAT. ]:<

ok first for my answer...
Hey there delilah is a good song. If you like bands that arent that hard core like that. if you want something harder try avenged sevenfold and eighteen visions. also try some papa roach....maybe some simple plan and good charlotte.

And now for my relalition...
First off...your a little 13 year old *****. How dare you tell people that what they think is lame. Im two years older than you, your maturity level should be close to mine but i think its that of a four year old. You also shouldnt bash the people you call "Friends" because trust me honey i know from experience that little bitches ike you end up alone in life. If you like that stuff...which i do as well, then you do. dont go out saying other peoples art sucks just because it doesnt fir your tastes.

Grow up and get a life lesson honey cause i can garauntee you that if you showed up in MY high school like that then i would and could beat the **** out of you.

Since I haven't heard the song you are referring to I honestly can't give you an answer. I grew up on the old stuff and can't function with the majority of the new crap that is out there.

The group is called Plain White T's and you are correct about the song title.

I just used Napster to listen to it. I don't think I would listen to it all the time but maybe every now and then.

there are modern day songs.....few and far between.....that are written with a certain level of emotion

granted, none of these new fallout boy/emo/plain white t's bands will ever have the same talent that zeppelin and rush had. but if you like it, then listen to it.

i'll admit it....on my exterior, i profess to hate all the new crap that's put out there by chemical romance and postal service, and all that garbage.....but i do have a few guilty pleasures that nobody knows about, nor dare i tell anyone

i do no longer pay interest to eras as much as I do genres + specific artists. lots of the steel I pay attention to comes from the ninety's or 2000's, despite the fact that it extremely is no longer belongings you will ever pay attention on the radio. there are a good number of steel subgenres...you're able to discover something that appeals to you in case you justkeep looking and surfing. I agree a good number of steel sounds like it extremely is attempting too problematic to be "brutal", it extremely is in part why I dislike grindcore and many death steel. in case you like to attempt something this is easily heavy, attempt going for doom or stoner steel, something with extremely heavy bass. I asked a Q the day earlier in the present day approximately "the heaviest, sexiest steel" meaning stuff like electric powered Wizard and Burning Witch (doom and stoner), I have been given some astonishing solutions, be happy to examine that Q out, and extremely click the youtube link I put in the main appropriate factors. do no longer knock the recent an prolonged time of steel till you have tried em all ;)

Hey there Delilah is a great song, why are you so preoccupied with wether or not a song fits into a particular catagory, that Madam is profiling, and profiling is wrong

If you enjoy something, just enjoy it. Don't be a poser and only like what others like.

age makes no difference when you arechoosing music. You like what you like and it should never matter to you what anyone else thinks about it. That should also apply to you when you trash your friends for what they like. Music is about individual taste, what moves you, what makes you feel good, and its all different. I'm 55 and I like music from all genres, styles and decades, except most rap, that just doesn't appeal to me. My favorite current song is "Big Girls Dont Cry" by Fergie, and trust me, I dont care what anybody thinks about it!

well, first of all that song is great. i love it, i don't relay know how to play guitar but i tried to learn and play that song just because its awesome.

second, i used to fell the same way you did about new bands. i thought they were trash!!!!!
but then my friend made me listen to fall out boy... and well i think there pretty talented..

so you may want to widen out your music selection to find more bands/styles, that you may like
