I'm going on holiday to Mexico in a couple of weeks to get away from all the stresses and strains of every day life. My plan is to sit on the beach getting tremendously drunk whilst listening to some nice relaxing music. But I don't know what, so it would be good to get some recommendations for some nice chilling music, preferably albums. I don't mind if they're from a particular artist or a compliation, but here's some examples of sort of thing I like:

Lene Marlin
Enya
Bob Marley
Cherry Ghost
Some Sting stuff

Not a lot to go on I suppose, but any recommendations would be welcome.

This old country song is sung by a woman artist, and I am thinking by probably one of the big ones (Tammy Wynette, Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn). Heard it last week on America's Got Talent, which a young gal was singing. This song has been stuck in my brain ever since. Please help.

I heard this song on the radio. I'm pretty sure it's a newer song.
It goes something like...

I loved writing poetry all my life, but for the past few years I could only think about writing music. After many of my teachers and friends said that I had awesome poetry that could make good lyrics, I would always have these dreams about being in a band. I think that I'm a good singer, I might get singing lessons to help train my voice before I get out of highschool. Theres this program in my school where guitar players, vocalists, bassists, and drummers can all make music together. I'm hoping that one of them will be intertested in working with me, my vision for our music is kind of like Evanescence/Within Temptation/Lacuna Coil. I even have an album invisioned in my head right now. What are my chances for success? And I mean success as in earning a living off of what I love doing, not getting famous.

There was a song on smooth jazz 105.9 radio station yesterday at around 2, it sounded eastern and the guy said that he didnt know how to pronounce the album but the only spelling I caught was "aahr" and that the songs name was shatanay (shah-tun-ay) or something...does anyone know the artist?

Who's your favorite Beatle? John, George, Paul, Ringo? My Favorite is Paul. I think he's an amazing singer and a very good songwriter. He's was pretty cute back then, too. John is a close second. A very gifted man.

I've been tired of mainstream rap for a good minute now. i haven't listen to the radio in about 4 months now and the only time I really hear it is when I hit the club up.
