im a girl and im trying to learn to do a scremo voice as they need one in a band im in and i dont do anything else besides write lyrics. but every time i try it comes out like a whisper but its quite a good whisper lol anyone know any tips on how to learn or do you just think its impossible?

i play bass (have been for about ten years) and use all styles of playing, how often should i restring my bass? noone has ever really told me and ive just been doing it every few months, im guessing the style of music you play has something to do with it too? ie if you slap loads you have to change your strings more? I love texas music and I was just wonderin who are some of yalls favorite texas artists??? Also, THIS WEEKEND, if anyone lives in south to central texas... ON RIVER ROAD (you can't get anymore authentic than that) a campsite called "Rio Raft" is having their texas music festival!! They are playing friday and saturday--- ALL DIFFERENT NEW AND UPCOMING TEXAS BANDS!!! Also friday night is open mic night so come and join, IT WILL BE A BLAST!!! I mean MUSIC, the guadalupe RIVER, and BEER!!! HOw could life get any better!!! (Oh ya if you are familiar with river road then "rio raft" is after the forth crossing!!!!) Hope to see ya there!!!

I'm tired of listening to the same songs over and over on my i-pod. It's been forever since I've downloaded any new music, so I need some suggestions on some new music to download. I'm mostely into rockish stuff but at the moment, I'll go for anything that isn't too rappish or country. Too rappish meaning talking about smackin' up them bi*ches or something.
