I'm a dance music DJ....here are my top ten house tracks of all time.......

1) DJ Escape - "Wer*ship" (Junior Vasquez Mix)

They don't make 'em like this anymore….

2) Deborah Cox - "Who Do You Love?" (Junior Vasquez Mix)

A clinic on how to work a vocal and amplify the theme and drama of the original track. Less is More

3) DJ Escape - "Music Takes Me Higher" (DJ Escape Mix)

Pure Energy.

4) Mariah Carey - "Heartbreaker/If You Should Ever Be Lonely" (Junior Vasquez Mix)

Its humanly impossible for me to not sing along to this…would love to "battle" an ex to this song directly beneath the disco ball.

5) Skunk Anansie - "Brazen" (Junior Vasquez Mix)

"Why don't you weep when I cut you?" might be the fiercest line in house music for its intensity and irony.

6) Junior Vasquez - "Be Quiet" (All Ya'll Be Quiet Mix)

My most pussy-twisting musical moment would have to be when I first heard this track at Twilo.

7) Vivian Green - "Emotional Rollercoaster" (Junior Vasquez Percapella)

Sometimes dropping out the beat can make magic….producers..keep pumping out those pellas!

8) Michael T. Diamond - "Hell's Bells" (Main Mix)

If I ever got into production I would totally be all over classic hip-hop samples…"Ya Jingling Baby" is hot in this track… what about a mix of "Push It" ..or "Make Em Clap To This"?

9) Whitney Houston - "I Learned From The Best" (Plasmic Honey Mix)

I have yet to find the finished version of this mix…but it is number one on my wish list. It started as a mash up vs "Funeral" by Plasmic Honey which I have a rough copy of…but then I heard of a final version…anyone?

10) The Sweet Inspirations feat Cissy Houston - "Shake Yourself Loose" (Dynamix and Haarmeyer Mix)

This song liberates me and makes me want to testify to the Lord! Take the Shackles Off My Feet So I Can Dance!!
