I love texas music and I was just wonderin who are some of yalls favorite texas artists??? Also, THIS WEEKEND, if anyone lives in south to central texas... ON RIVER ROAD (you can't get anymore authentic than that) a campsite called "Rio Raft" is having their texas music festival!! They are playing friday and saturday--- ALL DIFFERENT NEW AND UPCOMING TEXAS BANDS!!! Also friday night is open mic night so come and join, IT WILL BE A BLAST!!! I mean MUSIC, the guadalupe RIVER, and BEER!!! HOw could life get any better!!! (Oh ya if you are familiar with river road then "rio raft" is after the forth crossing!!!!) Hope to see ya there!!!

Ok I have a quick question for you. When you say "Texas" music, are you talking country, tejano or what, cause in Texas there are several bands that are mixed country and tejano and then for most part, there are the tejano bands that are all over the state. But in any case, the ones that I have seen, they were all really good!

a guy you should check out is Austin Allsup -- i think he has been working on his second CD. his first CD, "Intensity" is awesome!!
you should also check out Harley Dean - great songwriter and singer (and i was his drummer when he was on the road last year)
