You know, it's strange, you came up with this question because I have been singing this song while I shower for so long that I can't remember for how long. I don't know who sings it though, but I still love the words, the words you are referring to go something like this, "baby, can't you see ever since we met, you got a hold on me," and I do believe the rest of the song goes like this, well, atleast this is how I sing it each morning when I wash my face, shave, or take a shower, here we go, the song continues like this, "ever since we met honey, you give me all your money, and you got a hold of me, becaise honey you are so sweet, honey bee, honey bee, so baby, can't you see ever since we met you got a hold on me like super duper super glue, baby this is why I love you, honey pie, honey apples, honey honey honey, let me go, you're hurting me, go, go, or I'll call the cops!" Is this the song you are thinking of? Well, I guess I'll never know the real singer but I sing it okay, but sometimes my wife yells for me to shut up because she is asleep, so I sing it lower.
