Music - 21 March 2007

I want to spend under $1500 and I need 88 weighted keys, plenty of polyphony, something that sounds and feels like a real piano, does not take much room and can be used with headphones. I don't need midi or any fancy sounds. I just need a simple realistic piano sound so that I can practice and be prepared for when I'm around a real piano.

Myself and three other teachers (all female) would like to perform something for the student body during a school "fun day". All four of us are relatively good singers who have backgrounds in vocal music and acting. (We all love broadway musicals). What song should we sing? Something fun? Something just plain good? Any ideas? We will be performing for students aged 5-12.

My favorite musical instrument is the Pungi or Been. It is the snake charmer's flute. I like it because it puts me into a trance. It also hypnotizes the charmer's audience, and his cobra. Alot of people say cobras are deaf and can't hear the music. I dissagree. Because when I was a snake charmer in a past life, I could sence when the cobra was hypnotized.

There first preformance was in Nortrhern Ca. in 78. I was lucky to have been invited to a privite party at the Cars of Stars in Southern California. I was totally blown away. They fu@#in Rocked! and still do..
